Frequently asked questions.

Have a question? See if we’ve answered it here or contact us.

  • Check-In is from 2 pm and Check-Out is at 10 am. If you will be arriving late or require an earlier or later check out please let us know as we will do our best to accommodate your request.

  • Currently, there are only two domes at Gleneagle. Both sleep two people so there are never any more than four guests on-site at any time to allow for maximum space and privacy. Both domes have areas that are private just for them and then there are shared areas such as "The Back Paddock" and “Devil’s Den”. You may come into contact with the other two guests from time to time if you are venturing around our vast property.

  • Gleneagle Tasmania has development approval for up to 150-person events such as weddings/elopements, open days, music and art festivals and car and garden club gatherings to name a few. Contact hosts for further information via our contact page.

  • Our reception area has Eftpos facilities and local attraction information.

  • No smoking is allowed inside the domes, only in the designated area marked “smoking” on the outside platform with the exception of total fire ban periods. Smoking information is detailed within the terms and conditions displayed on the bookings page.

  • What booking options are there: We offer single-night bookings for those after a quick getaway but, to enjoy all that the property has to offer, you are encouraged to make a minimum two day booking.

The conditions of cancellations, variations, damages, unavailability due to unforeseen circumstances, noise, parties, mutual respect, etc are detailed on the terms and conditions document agreed at booking stage.

  • Two-night stays and above will be serviced on request, management will enquire after two nights if fresh towels etc are required. Bed linen will be changed at appropriate times depending upon stay duration.
